Sayem
University of Wales Trinity Saint DavidComputer Networks and Cyber Security (MSc, PgDip, PgCert)Hi, I’m Sayem, a postgraduate student studying MSc Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering, where I worked on projects related to cybersecurity—especially phishing detection using behavioral biometrics. I’m originally from Bangladesh and now studying on the Swansea campus. I know how exciting—and sometimes confusing—it can feel when planning to study abroad, so I’m always happy to share honest advice about university life, courses, accommodation, part-time work, or life in Wales. Outside my studies, I enjoy tech, solving practical problems, and exploring new places. If you have questions about the course, campus, or student life, feel free to message me. I’m here to help! If you want it shorter, more friendly, or more focused on campus life, I can adjust it! Orin
University of Wales Trinity Saint DavidComputing (Computer Networks and Cybersecurity) (BSc, HND, HNC, Foundation Entry)Welcome! I’m Orin. I lived in Hong Kong for most of my life before coming to the UK, so I know exactly how daunting (and exciting) it is to study abroad. I’m now in my final year of cybersecurity and networking. My Interests: When I'm not coding, I'm usually gaming or working on the university's Esports Society, which I am currently relaunching. I’m also a huge petrolhead with a love for cars and robotics. Ask me about: Finding the best Asian food in town, the transition from College/BTEC to University, or how the university supports students with learning differences like dyslexia. I’m happy to share my tips on making this city feel like home!

How do you include apprenticeships in your workforce planning?
Higher and degree apprenticeships aren’t just an increasingly popular form of education. We know they’re already playing an essential role in workforce planning.

How to manage a successful apprenticeships programme
We invited organisations who could offer guidance on the day-to-day running of apprenticeships programmes, as well as how to support apprentices through to completion. We had speakers from the Association of Apprentices, Workplus, and Lloyd’s Banking Group – if you missed it, here’s what happened.
