    Hey there, I'm Hemanth! I've settled into uni life and I'm loving every moment of it. I've had the pleasure of engaging with many students, helping them get comfortable with our amazing campus and all the resources we have. I love giving campus tours and showing off our fantastic facilities and support services. As a doctoral research scholar, my research focuses on characterizing materials using Non-Destructive Testing. I'm always here to guide you, whether you have questions about your studies or just want to know more about social life in Glasgow. I am a race marshal at Oulton Park race track and have joined the Tennis team at Coventry University. I am a Christian and go to Christian union meetings and Hillfields church. To relax i enjoy watching films, TV and playing video games.

    Hi there! I am a PhD Student who recently graduated from Strathclyde with a MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Applications. I started my PhD in Design Manufacturing and Engineering Management in October and have been enjoying working on my project ‘Cognitive Biases in Conceptual Design’ In my free time, I enjoy exploring both Scotland and abroad, but particularly this beautiful country. Some of my favourite memories from Strathclyde have been the sports ball, a mountaineering trip to Glencoe, and attending fight nights. I have had so many great experiences from my time as a student here from from being a sports union volunteer to becoming a class rep. I am happy to chat about anything regarding Glasgow, academia, and any other aspects of student life

    Hi, I’m Jo. I am a mature student currently studying Motorsport Engineering at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Although my background is in Agricultural Engineering, I knew Motorsport would be my future career. When I’m not studying, I enjoy spending my time rallying cars, truck racing and racing motocross. Upon finishing my studies, I hope to gain a job role as a European truck racing engineer. I am currently a student representative and student voice representative...and loving every aspect of my time at UWTSD.

My background is in Information Technology but my passion lies with engineering so the change (although drastic) was exciting.     I am a Robotics and Mechatronics student who is currently building his career as a future engineer. My plan is to get an engineering chartership after years of industry experience and hopefully live a life of doing what I love. My core passion is Robotics Engineering, but I admit I am quite eclectic and don't usually stick to just that. For example, in my free time I love to follow courses related to game development so I can get to make cool videogames or following 3D modelling tutorials/projects to make impressive 3D models (which I can also use in games). Not just that! I have also loved doing origami since I was 7 and have been improving my craft since. I managed to make all kinds of things including: cats, dogs, dragons, unicorns and even a small F1 car at one point. I barely ever sit down to do nothing, thus I do a lot things I find both fun and productive. University to me has pretty much been doing what I used to like doing in my free time but all the time instead. Every day was a fun day and I'm beyond excited to help others along the way. Now that I have graduated, sky's the limit and I could not be happier to share and grow my passion.

    Hi I am Sarvin! I am currently studying an MSc in Robotics at King’s and I come from a Biomedical Engineering background. I know that transitioning into robotics can feel daunting so I am more than happy to help with questions about changing fields, preparing applications, or what to expect from the course. I chose robotics because I am really fascinated by how machines are designed and how widely they are applied in society, from healthcare and aviation to mechanics and automation. I am hoping to pursue a career as a robotics engineer in London after graduating.
