Hey there! I'm Mihini, a fourth-year undergrad studying Economics at UofG. I was born in Dubai, UAE and moved to Qatar when I was nine, although I am originally from Sri Lanka. As an international student, I know how daunting moving to a different country and starting university can be and hopefully, UniBuddy will help ease some of that stress. I am a first year Economics student in Stephenson College at Durham University. I am originally from Portugal, although I moved to Manchester when I was 6 years old with my parents and twin brother. My brother and I are the first in our family to go to uni so being at Durham has been a really great experience!!!
I am a member of my college's badminton team, as well as the bookkeeper for my college's JCR so I really like getting involved with events at college level although in general I love trying new things at uni.
