I am a second year Economics student in Stephenson College at Durham University. I am originally from Portugal, although I moved to Manchester when I was 6 years old with my parents and twin brother. I am the first in my family to go to uni so being at Durham has been a really great experience!!!
I am captain of one of my college's badminton teams, as well as the Treasurer for my college's JCR so I really like getting involved with events at college level although in general I love trying new things at uni.

I’m a second-year international student at the University of Essex (Colchester Campus), originally from the vibrant country of Zambia. My educational journey has taken me across Southern Africa, with my O Levels in Zimbabwe and A Levels in South Africa, giving me a rich and diverse perspective both inside and outside the classroom.

Beyond my academics, I’m passionate about sports, fitness, wellness, entrepreneurship, and community engagement—I believe in living a balanced life and giving back to those around me. Being Indian descent, I enjoy watching both north and south Indian movies with my favourite actors being: SRK, Allu Arjun and Thalapathy Vijay. I think it's important to embrace your culture and having attended cultural society events, this has been a fantastic opportunity for me.

I have a passion for fitness and without fail aim to schedule citysport gym sessions around my university timetable and this has significantly improved both my physical and mental well-being. 

 My other side-hobbies includes researching the latest and greatest developments in technology by watching content from youtubers such as: MKBHD & Mrwhosetheboss.
