Hi! I’m Xiuqi (Cara), originally from China, currently studying Economics and Finance.

In the short term, I’m aiming to become a credit risk analyst, as I’m really interested in financial analysis, risk assessment, and understanding how markets work behind the scenes. I’m still exploring and building my path step by step — that’s part of the journey!

Outside of academics, I’m big on self-improvement. You’ll probably find me at the gym, working on building both physical and mental strength. I also love watching American TV series — fun fact: I used to dream about becoming a cop in Los Angeles (yes, influenced by TV 😄).

Hi, I’m Yaprak Nil!

I’m currently a 2nd-year student studying Economics at City, University of London. Originally from Turkey, I lived there until I started university here in the UK. Moving to London was a big change, but it has been an exciting journey full of new experiences and opportunities!

I’m passionate about finance and my goal is to work in the financial industry, with the dream of eventually owning my own company. City’s diverse community and strong focus on real-world skills have been helping me prepare for this future, and I’m excited to share my experiences with you.

Outside of academics, I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes. I’m also an avid reader and enjoy exploring different genres. Whether it’s discussing career paths, student life in London, or just finding the best study spots on campus, I’m here to help!

Hi there ! I am Yashil, a 3rd year Bsc Economics and Econometrics student with future career aspirations within the financial industry. 

Being Indian descent, I enjoy watching both north and south Indian movies with my favourite actors being: SRK, Allu Arjun and Thalapathy Vijay. I think it's important to embrace your culture and having attended cultural society events, this has been a fantastic opportunity for me.

I have a passion for fitness and without fail aim to schedule citysport gym sessions around my university timetable and this has significantly improved both my physical and mental well-being. 

 My other side-hobbies includes researching the latest and greatest developments in technology by watching content from youtubers such as: MKBHD & Mrwhosetheboss.
