I am a 4th year Graduate Entry Medicine Student and I also did my Bsc in Medical Pharmacology at Swansea. I love dance, aerial sports and cheerleading, it has been a great experience so far. There are a lot of different areas of Swansea that can be explored. I was born in America but have done GCSE and A-levels in the United Kingdom. I have various jobs connected to the university such as Student Ambassador. The Medical Pharmacology course was a great and engaging experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hi, I'm Sara and  I've really enjoyed my time at the university so far, its been lovely to meet so many different people and enjoy student life! I know it can seem a little daunting at first but there are lots of events and societies organised to meet new people and have fun! Personally I like to bake, read and I'd love to travel and explore new cultures.  After I've completed my degree, I have an interest in pediatrics , however, I'm still very uncertain at this stage- (let's hope I survive my exams first..)

Hi there! I’m Sarah, a third year medical student at Brighton and Sussex medical School. I am a mature student having worked for the UK Government for the past ten year, and a graduate, completing my first degree in Medical Neuroscience here at the University of Sussex. It really feels like I have come full circle now that I am back here studying medicine!

I hope to become a GP once I finish my degree, but we get so much exposure to different specialities I am also excited to explore. I enjoy yoga and cold water swimming which is great as I live by the sea for the first time!

Hi, my name is Hannah! I am fourth year veterinary medicine student. I haven’t decided which area of veterinary medicine I’m going to go into yet, but I enjoy the variety that comes with working in a mixed practice of small animal, farm and equine.

I enjoy staying active by doing gymnastics, running and have learnt how to play polo since joining the society at university. I love walking dogs, riding ponies and going on runs with my friends.

Hi! My name is Kiera and I am a 4th year Neuroscience MSci student at the University of Glasgow. Outside of my studies I love to sing and perform on stage in musicals - it is a great way to relax and express myself! I chose to study Neuroscience as I find the complexity of the brain fascinating, and there is so much to learn about on this course. I started on the BSc degree and transferred to the MSci program at the end of 3rd year. Currently, I am completing my work placement year in the Centre for Neurotechnology and Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging. Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry [BSc/MSci]

After doing my A levels in Chemistry, Maths, and Psychology, I wasn't sure what to do next. I chose to come to Glasgow because of the flexibility they offered with their degree plans; I initially enrolled in a Psychology degree, but have since changed my degree to Chemistry! Next year, I will be on a placement year in Industry, and I hope to work in research in the future! I love studying in Glasgow, and am happy to answer any questions you may have :)
