Helo! My name is Megan and I'm from Flintshire in North East Wales. I am a fluent Welsh speaker and a first-year medical student. I was attracted to Bangor because of its fantastic natural beauty and how friendly and approachable everyone is. I'm never bored here, with balancing my busy course but also the amazing societies, beaches, mountains, and of course the nights out :)

Medicine
Hi, I'm a first-year medical student at Bangor University, and although I didn't initially plan to come here, I am so grateful to receive an offer through clearing, as it not only enabled me to study medicine, it also allowed me to study in a picturesque setting - surrounded by the mountains of Snowdonia and the many surrounding beaches of Anglesey and Llandudno - which ensure that there is always something exciting to do outdoors. I'm also really into running, and there is nothing quite like going for a jog surrounded by the beautiful coastal and mountain views that make this place so special. Outside of my degree, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved, and I'm currently the BMA representative for the North Wales Medical School.
