Law
Hi! I’m a law student currently working towards becoming a barrister, with a strong interest in criminal law and human rights. Alongside my studies, I’m actively involved in student life as a student governor and secretary for both the Business & Law Society and the Christian Union.
I’ve taken part in mooting competitions, attended court hearings, and gained practical insight through legal volunteering so I’m always happy to share tips on balancing academics with real-world experience.
Feel free to message me about anything whether it’s studying law, getting involved on campus, or just settling into uni life. I’ve got you!

Law
Hi! As an international student, I intend on returning to my home country, Seychelles, to pursue a career in the legal field, after I have finished my current course. The law has always been intriguing to me and I have a similar interest in Psychology because it is such a fascinating subject, so I studied it in A-levels and I have loved it ever since. That is why I decided to study Psychology as well as Law at university level, despite only intending to enter the law profession, and I could not be happier about my decision.

Politics Philosophy and Law
I grew up in Bristol and always knew I wanted to live in the big city! Studying Law in London is an incredible opportunity, as you're right in the heart of where it all happens. The PPL course in particular gives me a great holistic insight into the humanitarian questions around law - What is justice? How can we establish a stable democracy? - whilst granting me a comprehensive understanding of how our judicial and political institutions are currently running. Being able to finish this degree with the LLB qualification whilst studying modules which question and challenge those institutions is truly rewarding. My career prospects are certainly in Law, most likely corporate. However, as I love to sing, I would like to pursue music at some point in my life - so am considering alternative postgraduate options.
Mehak
City St George's, University of London
Law LLB (Hons)
My name is Mehak, and I am a second-year law student at City, St George's University of London. My passion for law began during my A-level studies, where I discovered how much I enjoyed the subject. That experience cemented my decision to pursue law as my degree.
For me, law is not just an academic discipline—it is a field I genuinely enjoy learning about and immersing myself in. I am particularly drawn to commercial law, which intrigues me with its complexity and dynamic nature.
I aspire to become a solicitor and am currently researching and applying for vacation schemes to gain valuable experience and secure a training contract. I am eager to take meaningful steps toward building a career in this field and contributing to its ever-evolving landscape.

Law
I’m currently in my third year of studying law (LLB). I was born and raised outside of the UK and moved here at the age of 15. I am the first in my family to attend university. I enjoy public speaking, debating and photography outside of my academic studies. Growing up in a low-income household and receiving free school meals has shaped me in many ways. These experiences have helped me develop resilience/determination/perseverance/drive, and to value the importance of education and opportunities.
