Zehra
University of Sussex
Law
Hi! My name is Zehra, and I’m a first-year LLB Law student at the University of Sussex. I’m really excited to be part of the Student Ambassador Programme and to support students who are considering joining our community.
My goal is to become a barrister, and I’m particularly interested in areas such as human rights, public, and employment law. I’m passionate about supporting and advocating for underrepresented communities.
As a first-generation student, an ethnic minority immigrant from Turkey, a mature student, and someone living with a disability, I truly understand how important it is to feel supported, welcomed, and connected at university. That’s why I’m here — to share my journey, answer your questions, and help you feel confident in finding your own path.
I speak both Turkish and English, and outside of my studies, I enjoy reading, watersports, chess, cinema, and music. I also have a cat who keeps me company during my study sessions!
If you’re feeling unsure, curious, or just want to chat, feel free to reach out — I’m always happy to help.

MSc Data Science
Hi I'm Zimuzo. I study MSc Data Science. My interest in data began during one of my undergraduate modules, where I discovered the power of data in uncovering patterns and telling meaningful stories. Since then, I’ve been drawn to analytics and the impact it can create.
Through this course, I’ve gained practical experience building predictive machine learning models, working hands-on with real datasets, and strengthening my analytical thinking.
I’m committed to continuously developing my skills and building a successful career in the data space, where I can help drive evidence-based decisions and create measurable value. If you have any questions about my course, the uni, student life or anything else, feel free to chat with me!

Chemistry
I am second year Chemistry student at King's College London. Originally from Poland, I have lived in Birmingham for most of my life until moving to London for university. My passion for Chemistry comes from how deeply it connects to everyday life. During my GCSEs, I became fascinated by how chemistry underpins something as simple as baking, a hobby I’ve loved since I was young, and that’s what really sparked my interest in the subject. Despite it being challenging at times, I really enjoy studying Chemistry, and being able to study at KCL only furthers my love for my degree! Outside of studying, my main interests involve trying new food places around London and socialising with others outside of my university and course. Feel free to ask me any questions you have, whether it be about the academic side of London or the social side, and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.
