History
Hello, my name is Tre, I am a home student living in accommodation on campus, and I am studying Military and International History. The reason for my choice in degree is due to it being related to my personal interests, family history and aligns with my intentions to join the RAF once I have finished university at Brunel. Alongside my degree I am a member of Brunel's target shooting club and take German language lessons, and hoping to spend my 2nd year studying abroad.
If you have any questions relating to university, studying at Brunel or history courses offered by Brunel, I am happy to help in any way I can.

I am a northern girl with a huge passion for history. My career plan is to hopefully become a historian in a royal palace, specifically Hampton Court Palace. My favourite periods in history are the Wars of The Roses and the Tudor periods. I have a few different hobbies that include reading historical fiction and also trying to see as many musicals as possible.

I am President of the Korfball Society, and being a part of this society has really helped me to settle into the uni lifestyle and make friends, which was something I was nervous about when starting.

Georgia
University of Warwick
Undergraduate Classics and Ancient History
I'm Georgia, a 19 year old Classics student from a small town near Reading! After studying both Latin and Greek in school, I have taken a step back from Ancient languages for my first year at uni to explore different sides to classics. Now due to both my language experience from school and what I have learnt at uni, I feel I can give you an accurate view on what Classics at Warwick is like, and answer any further questions you might have! Additionally, coming from a small town with nothing but a single costa coffee shop, moving to the University of Warwick was a big change in how I began to live my life! I had previous experience in staying away from home and my family before university, therefore i'm always happy to chat about the experiences of moving away from home! One of my biggest fears about coming to uni was that I would not be able to make any friends, as I had previously had struggles with making friends at school, but I immediately hit it off with several of my flatmates, who had similar interests as me thanks to Warwick's accommodation quiz! From there I was able to meet even more friends through my course, and through societies like Mixed Hockey! In short, I have never been happier than I am now at Warwick, and I have really been able to express the real me at university! Feel free to ask me questions about any area of life here at Warwick and I will do my best to help and advise you!

BA History (V100)
I come from the town of West Bridgford outside Nottingham in the East Midlands. I am half Indian, quarter Welsh, quarter German. I attended a state school, studying Law, Economics and History for A Level. My passion for all things history led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in it at Durham University. I'm currently undecided as to my career plans, but I'm considering either going into academia, the civil service, or journalism.
Sam
Coventry University
History BA (Hons)
I am a current undergraduate second-year history student at Coventry University who is keen to harness the opportunities offered by my course to develop the transferable skills I require to perform to the best of my ability in the world of work. As a member of the Coventry University History Society, I value the opportunity to build connections, socialise with people inside and outside my course, and build up my knowledge and experience in my subject. I regularly search for new interests to broaden my experiences in outdoor and sports activities, including hiking, running, cycling and swimming, which are particularly enjoyable for me. Upon completing my course, I plan to apply for jobs in areas of interest or a graduate scheme. I am interested in a career in civil service, particularly in foreign relations, so my history course provides the perfect opportunity to build on my critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which would be essential for this career path.
