Meet the academics

Mark Bentley

Mark Bentley is a Senior Lecturer in Supply Chain Management at Anglia Ruskin University. He spent the first 30 years of his career as a Supply Chain Professional, working for a range of blue chip companies in the UK and specialising in physical distribution and servitization. Starting his career with Royal Mail, he has undertaken a range of Operational Leadership roles, before moving into Marketing. Mark moved into further education as Director of Curriculum and Business Development, before into Higher Education at ARU as Senior Lecturer. Alongside his teaching role, Mark works in curriculum and course development, while also creating links with industry and industry representative organisations such as the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT), and the Chartered Institute for Procurement & SupplyN (CIPS).
