There are lots of accommodation options to fit all budgets and lifestyles. If you decide to live in Pontypridd, you can choose to live in our halls of residence on campus. Living in halls is a brilliant way to make friends and feel part of the USW family. If you want to live in Cardiff or Newport you can live in halls, too. The only difference is USW doesn’t own the halls there. It’s exactly the same warm, welcoming vibe.

Our industry connections mean you can attend work placements. These placements are an important part of your course and are designed to enhance your employability. Some students may have an opportunity to spend a year abroad as part of their degree. This is a great way to make your CV stand out.
