If you're looking to study music production, sound engineering, DJing, vocal performance, songwriting, music business, music software engineering, or radio and podcasting, pointblank offers specialist degree programmes designed to prepare you for a career in the music industry.

For almost 30 years we've been developing the next generation of music professionals through industry-focused education and connections with leading artists, labels and employers. These partnerships help set pointblank apart and keep our courses aligned with industry needs.

Our students awarded us an 89% Teaching score in the 2026 National Student Survey (NSS). We're also proud to hold TEF Gold status, the only specialist music production institution to achieve this recognition.

We offer foundation, three-year and accelerated two-year degree programmes, all taught by industry experts, giving you the skills, insight and support to build your future in music.

What makes us different

pointblank is run by musicians, for musicians. We've got a team of industry professionals, a line-up of incredible alumni, and courses that the music industry stands up and takes notice of. 

We have 3 immersive Dolby Atmos spatial audio studios, a Rupert Neve mixing console, and 3 SSLs – including a Duality Delta 48 Channel and an Origin desk – which will not disappoint. Plus an Alpha Theta/Pioneer DJ studio, kitted out with the very best DJ decks such as the OPUS-QUAD and DJM-A9. You’ll be immersed in these outstanding spaces featuring equipment that’s only enjoyed by industry professionals in high-end recording studios. Our campus also includes a spacious communal hub, two state-of-the-art live recording studios, two dedicated singing rooms, a stage, nine practice rooms, bike storage and lots more!
