At a glance: What you can do with the Student Decision Insights Dashboard

  • Understand why applicants accept or decline offers.
  • Identify the factors that influence decision-making.
  • Compare performance with similar providers.
  • Track how student priorities change over time.

What is the Student Decision Insights Dashboard?

The Student Decision Insights Dashboard helps you to understand why applicants chose your provider, another provider, or declined their offers – using feedback from applicant survey responses after they have made their final decisions.

This interactive dashboard goes beyond application data to show the factors that influence decision-making, how these vary across applicant groups, and how your performance compares with other providers.

Developed in collaboration with providers, it supports more informed, evidence-based decisions across recruitment, marketing, and student experience.

The insights we gain directly shape our recruitment strategy, allowing us to address crucial areas that matter most to students, converting more applicants effectively.

What insight does the dashboard provide?

The dashboard helps you answer key questions about your applicants, including:

  • Why do applicants choose other providers over us?
  • Which factors matter most when students make their decisions?
  • How do perceptions differ by subject, region, or applicant type?
  • How have student priorities changed over time?
  • How does our performance compare to similar providers?

All insights are based on applicant feedback collected in a survey, just after firm and insurance decisions have been made.
