How to fill in an application

This is the first stage – completing and submitting your application by the relevant application deadline. The application fee is £13 for a single choice, or £24 for more than one choice.
  1. Check which application deadline you need to meet – most courses have a deadline in January, but some are in the October before or March. There are late deadlines too, but applications are competitive, so applying on time gives you more chance of getting a place on a course you want.
  2. How to fill in your application – a step-by-step guide to all the information you need to provide.

How to track the progress of your application

This is the second stage – often several months waiting for decisions, interviews, offers and exam results.
  1. How to track your application – an overview of what happens when you’re waiting to hear back from universities and colleges, and what to do next.
  2. How to handle exam results day – some course offers are conditional on exam results, so here’s how to prepare and what to do on the day.
