UCAS consumer reviews policy
We may publish reviews or feedback on our website and social media channels – for example, if you attend one of our events. We may also include all or part of your review or feedback in our marketing material in any media.
Rules for reviews
If you submit a review about our services or those of a third party your review must:
- reflect a genuine service or experience (both positives and negatives) and must not attempt to manipulate consumer perception, or negatively target any particular organisation
- not be influenced by any incentive. You must fully disclose if you have been offered any incentive to leave a review or give feedback and you must give your honest unbiased opinion. You must ensure your review or feedback fully explains how it has been incentivised. Any incentivised review or feedback must start with the word “Advert”
- not relate to a product or service you are connected with (for example, because you (or someone in your family) has a financial interest in or works for the business that provides it)
- not attempt to manipulate ratings such as submitting multiple reviews for the same product or service; and
- comply with the terms and conditions for use of the UCAS network – for example, your review must not be obscene, harmful or defamatory
If you think any review is fake or otherwise doesn't comply with the rules for reviews, please report this to us by contacting our Customer Experience Centre.

Removing reviews
We shall make reasonable efforts to identify and remove any review that we believe contains false or misleading information or breaches the rules for reviews or any applicable law.
If you disagree with our decision to remove your review, you can contact us at complaints@ucas.ac.uk and we will deal with the issue you raise in accordance with our complaints policy.
