This event has now finished

Opening times

15 December 2020 - 19:00 to 20:00

This online Forensic Science taster event includes a live lecture from one of our inspirational research academics, Robert Green. He will consider finger mark evidence, highlighting the cause célèbre of misidentification in the case of Brandon Mayfield. Having looked at (a) how marks are deposited and taken account of (b) cases of misidentification we will (c) take participants through (professional) pattern matching assessment put together by National Institute of Science and Technology in the USA. At the end of the lecture Robert Green will be joined by a current student and you will get the chance to ask questions about the course and life at Kent.
