    We know that choosing where to study is an important decision and joining our open day is the perfect way to find out if Buckingham is the right place for you.

    Come to our Open Day and hear from our Vice-Chancellor, students, and staff as they answer your questions and tell you everything you need to know about living and studying at Buckingham. If you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

    What happens at an Open Day?
    Typically, our open days start around 10am and finish at 3pm. Visitors will be welcomed by our Student Ambassadors and staff members and throughout the day will have the opportunity to:

    - Ask questions to our staff and hear from our Vice-Chancellor;
    - Chat to about what student life is really like with our current students;
    - Meet our Accommodation team, Fees and Finance, Students’ Union, Student Welfare and Careers Service teams;
    - Find out about our degrees and enjoy a taster session of your chosen subject with our teaching staff;
    - Go on a guided tour of our campus and view our accommodation blocks;
    - Relax, get some lunch and soak up the atmosphere on our beautiful campus.

    Fake news and misinformation are, sadly, becoming more and more of a problem for society. Dr Philip Fine will give an overview of what fake news is, why people tend to believe and share it, and what, if anything, we can do about it.

    University of Buckingham - Law Taster webinar

    Dr James Slater will host the webinar on a theme within criminal law. He will talk about “Attempting the impossible…is it a crime?”



    We will also explain how we offer of a broad range of extra-curricular opportunities to develop your professional skills and experience of legal practice.

    At this taster webinar, you will meet a member of the law academic team who will explain these aspects of our offer, and more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to an academic and a current student, via online chat.
