University Centre South Devon - Open Event

The South Devon College Open Evening offers learners or people thinking of returning to study the opportunity to come and meet with staff, view our facilities and find out more about a wide range of study options from high school right through to degree level, adult re-training or short courses. There is also opportunity to speak with support staff about applications, transport, financial support and learning support services.

Applicant events at the University Centre South Devon have been tailored specifically for the course you have applied for, and are designed to help you make an informed decision about where to study for your degree. We know that you will have a lot of questions to ask before making your final decision, so an applicant event will give you the opportunity to: - find out about your chosen course in more detail - speak with academic staff who will guide you in your learning - chat to current students about their experiences at university - meet other applicants who are considering studying at UCSD As well as looking at your course in more depth, and providing you the opportunity to speak with teaching staff, the day will also be supported by the chance to find out more about: - finance and funding, including details of your Bursary. - learning and disability support - students’ union activities and support

The University Centre South Devon Clearing Open Day offers current students or people thinking of returning to study the opportunity to come and meet with staff, view our facilities and find out more about the wide range of degree level courses and higher apprenticeships that are available. There is also the opportunity to find out more about student finance, UCAS applications and career opportunities. There is still time to find the right course for you for a September 2019 start!
