Summary
Cyber security is about protecting the systems, data and infrastructure that power our digital world. As technology evolves, so do the challenges, making it one of the most critical and fast-moving areas in computing.
On this integrated master’s course, you will build a strong foundation in computer science while developing specialist knowledge in cyber security. You will learn how to design, build and test software systems, alongside understanding how to identify and respond to security threats.
As you progress, you will explore the wider context of cyber security, from risk management to the social and legal factors that shape how security is implemented in the real world. This gives you a broader perspective on how technology and society intersect.
At Southampton, you will study in an environment recognised for excellence in cyber security research, preparing you to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing digital landscape.
