Economics affects every area of our lives. From our day-to-day decisions to global policies whose effects reverberate around the world, this degree will prepare you for a wide range of careers.
At Greenwich, we believe economics must help to build and more equitably share prosperity, create meaningful employment, and ensure the transition to a carbon-neutral future. After first year, we offer students the possibility to pursue study pathways based on finance, ESG (environmental, social and governance issues) or public policy.
In a complex dynamic business environment, whether you want to work for an established business or start your own, as a business economics graduate you will be able to apply theory and data handling skills to analyse real-world economic and business problems.
In your time with us you will gain the knowledge and skills essential for entrepreneurial initiative, graduate employment or post-graduate study. Our graduates have pursued successful careers in industry, finance, the civil service, NGOs, research and education.

We accept A Levels, T Levels, BTECs, AAQs, Access to HE and all other qualifications with UCAS Tariff points.
GCSE/National 4/National 5
GCSE Mathematics at grade 4/C. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.
We make Contextual offers to this programme. Applicants that meet specific eligibility criteria will be made a contextual offer with a reduced tariff of up to 16 UCAS Tariff points. Other entry requirements such as GCSEs, Interview, etc., will still need to be met. For further information, please see our Contextual Admissions policy.
We welcome applications from students who have completed one or two years of study at Level 4 or Level 5 on a relevant degree programme at another institution and wish to transfer into Year 2 or Year 3 at the University of Greenwich.
