The importance of ethical practice

The School of Business and Management value transparency and ethical accounting practices, integrity and accountability. These values are reflected in our research.

As the gender gap in accountancy is becoming a hot topic, our teaching staff are bringing awareness and bridging the gender gap within these professions. Others are investigating new accounting phenomena and political issues.

With the increasing complexity of financial markets and the integration of technology, graduates in this field are in high demand. Follow in the footsteps of our past students who now work at EY, CBRE, Deloitte, and more.

The School of Business and Management has strong links with professional accountancy bodies the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). This course is accredited by ACCA. BSc Accounting and Finance students will be eligible to acquire exemptions to certain ACCA and CIMA exams by applying to the relevant professional body upon graduating.
