Course summary
In partnership with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, the Global Football Development staff will provide expert support to the Level 4 HNC in Sport & Exercise Science (Coaching Science) units in collaboration with New City College Higher Education tutors.
Inspired by the Club’s Academy, our staff will share insight into our Global Football Development philosophy in order to support individuals who have aspirations to pursue a career within coaching and/or sport alongside the HNC training and games programme.
This bespoke programme will provide holistic and technical support to individual learners to develop the qualities and attributes to be a successful coach through the combination of their academic studies and specialised mentoring from Global Football Development coaches.
Through practical based learning to supplement the units of work students well enhance their knowledge and understanding of a range of topics that support coaching practice. Additionally for selected individuals there is the opportunity to undertake further mentoring opportunities within our Coaching Excellence Centre programme to shadow Academy staff as well as the opportunity for selected students to gain casual employment opportunities on Tottenham Hotspur’s Global Football Development programmes.
A flexible model that gives each learner the choice to stay and develop for as long as they want to get the qualification they desire (unlike university where you may need to commit to full 3 year term). After successful of the HNC, you can progress onto the Level 5 HND in Sport & Exercise Science (Coaching Science).
