About this course
This is a Law LLM. The core module is Research and Dissertation, and there is a wide range of elective modules to choose from. This flexible programme of study offers modules which are relevant to the current legal environment. You will learn how to apply the law successfully to complex situations, as well as develop research and investigative skills, and a critical and research-oriented approach to a range of chosen legal areas. The LLM also allows for collaboration with various other disciplines and departments within the University, such as criminology, psychology and politics.

Suitable roles include mediator, negotiator and government and NGO advisor, working for international organisations and in corporate or finance law. If you seek a legal career, you will be ready to further your progress towards becoming a solicitor or barrister and in-house counsel.
