Course summary

Top up your existing qualifications to a full BSc degree in one year. Focus on the topics that interest you most and tailor your study towards your career goals. Gain the experience and skills to progress into a range of career options including sport performance, sports science, health, education, coaching or business.

This degree is an ideal option for international applicants. It could reduce the time it takes to obtain a full Honours degree, compared to your home-based programme options.

You’ll benefit from learning in a modern sports campus, working with athletes from our Sports Academy programmes. Work-related application is central to the programme and you’ll learn from lecturers with extensive industry experience. You’ll also benefit from our strong industry partnerships within the sporting industry and will be encouraged to explore and think critically about current practices and future developments.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, working as part of our industry-standard facilities. This includes our human performance and biomechanics labs, power and cardio gyms, as well as all-weather and grass pitches as part of our new sports academy complex. You’ll conduct your own research project in an area of interest, as well as being assigned a personal tutor and supervisor to support your progress.
