  • Specialised focus on activewear: Develop advanced technical skills, including fabric innovation, garment engineering, and performance-focused design, tailored to the evolving sportswear market.

  • Industry collaborations: Benefit from our course's connections with the industry and engage in projects with leading sportswear brands to gain career experience and networking opportunities. Live project partners have included Puma, Rapha and O'Neill.

  • Sustainability and inclusivity: Enrich your design work by engaging with themes of sustainability, diversity and social equality and by examining case studies of the most ethically-minded sportswear brands.

  • Hands-on learning in cutting-edge facilities: Access world-class studios, workshops, and digital design tools, enabling you to experiment with a wide range of materials and techniques to create innovative collections.

  • Graduate career prospects: Choose to take an optional placement year between your second and third year, applying the skills learned on our course in a professional environment. Recent graduates now work as designers for technical and lifestyle sports brands including ByBorre, Nike, Soar, Rapha, Some Ideas, Adidas, Puma and DKNY.
