Course summary

This is one of several subject combinations available in our BSc (Honours) Computing & IT and a second subject (Q67). Combining computing & IT with mathematics gives you powerful analytical and technical skills that are in high demand. You’ll build firm foundations in both subjects in the early stages, then deepen your understanding of mathematical methods and modelling alongside a computing focus of your choice. Through your studies, you’ll gain problem-solving, data analysis and software skills, and complete a computing project. On completion, you'll emerge well-prepared for roles in data science, technology, finance and research.
