Course summary

Want to become a creative, strategic decision-maker? Combine management theory with marketing insight to set you on the path to a career delivering imaginative solutions to business problems.

Study the latest marketing and management concepts, understand consumer behaviour and be ready to harness the power of digital marketing and social media. You’ll be learning all this and much more at our prestigious business school. The Hull University Business School is accredited by AMBA and AACSB – fewer than 2% of the world’s 12,000 business programmes hold these marks of quality.

Broaden your horizons with a year of study at one of our partner universities across Europe, Asia, North America, or Australia. Gain new skills, build international contacts, and immerse yourself in a different culture and environment.

Combined with our Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) course accreditation, your route to further professional qualifications is faster, through significant exemptions from essential exams.

Why study at Hull?

• Get hands-on from day one: On top of your built-in year abroad at one of our international partner universities, you’ll get the chance to work on live industry projects for big-name brands.
• Qualify faster and earn more: Thanks to our CIM accreditation you’ll graduate already part-qualified, which could mean you start on a higher salary.
• 100% employability: A perfect 100% of our students are in work or further study 15 months after graduating.¹

Where could this take you?

You’ll have the latest marketing skills supported by broad business knowledge, so your career could take you anywhere. With real-world examples on your CV, you’ll stand out whether you’re applying for a brand management role, a graduate scheme, or a job in digital marketing.

Our graduates go into a wide range of careers with international brands and household names, including Nestlé, Next, Heinz, Red Bull and HSBC. On-campus networking events might just land you an internship or job offer.
