About the course

BSc (Hons) Psychology and Sociology explores how individual behaviour and mental processes are shaped by wider social structures, cultures and relationships. You’ll examine key psychological theories alongside sociological perspectives to understand how people think, act and interact within society.

This course is designed for students who want to explore human behaviour in social context, and who are interested in careers that require strong analytical, research and communication skills, or progression to further academic study.
