Modules

You'll study the underpinning engineering theory and get to apply it through practical sessions in our engineering facilities. To develop your engineering skills you'll be applying your skills to real-world situations and problems, making you think and work like a professional engineer. Modules include Professional Engineering Management (15 Credit Points), Further Engineering Maths (15 Credit Points), Advanced Manufacturing (15 Credit Points), Manufacturing Systems Engineering (15 Credit Points), Lean Manufacturing (15 Credit Points), Industrial Systems (15 Credit Points), Distributed Control Systems (15 Credit Points) and Sustainability (15 Credit Points).

Assessment method

The course is predominantly coursework-based with some practical assessments and class tests.
