About the course

BA (Hons) Zoology explores the scientific study of animals, from their biology and behaviour to ecology, conservation and evolution. The course is designed for students who want to understand animal life across a range of environments, using both laboratory and field based approaches.

You’ll study zoology within a strong biological sciences framework, developing practical, analytical and research skills that prepare you for careers working with animals, wildlife, conservation or further scientific study.

What you’ll study
