About the course
BSc (Hons) Building Surveying focuses on the inspection, assessment and management of buildings throughout their lifecycle. You’ll explore how buildings are designed, constructed, maintained and adapted, with an emphasis on building performance, regulations, sustainability and professional practice.
This course is designed for students who want to pursue a career in building surveying or related built environment roles, combining technical knowledge with problem solving and professional judgement.

What you’ll study
You’ll build a solid foundation in building surveying, while gaining professional skills valued across construction, property and consultancy sectors, including building pathology, condition surveying, contract administration, regulatory compliance and professional communication.
