This degree is delivered at our London campus in Whitechapel, at the centre of the UK’s music and creative industries.

Create, produce and shape your own sound.

You’ll explore music creation from both a technical and creative perspective, developing your skills in composition, production and songwriting. You’ll learn practical music theory and apply it directly to your own work, whether independently or through collaboration.

The course combines creative exploration with professional practice. You’ll respond to live briefs, collaborate across music, media and creative disciplines, and develop an understanding of how music is created, produced and used in today’s industry.

Learning is hands-on and project-based, helping you build a portfolio that reflects real-world production.

Optional Placement Year

We have an option for all of our students to undertake a placement year and allow you to decide whether this is right for you once you have completed years 1 and 2 of your course. This time spent working in industry provides our students with crucial work experience, which is highly prized and much sought after by employers upon graduation.
