Course summary

Technology is evolving fast, shaping how we communicate, work and solve problems. Our BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree gives you the skills to understand these changes and the confidence to shape what comes next.

You’ll build practical experience in our specialist labs, exploring how software is created, how systems operate and how digital tools are designed. From programming and web development to algorithms, databases and computer architectures, you’ll develop the same technical skills used by computing professionals.

The course blends theory with hands‑on learning, helping you build a strong foundation before moving into areas like software design, networks, operating systems, computer graphics and advanced programming. By the time you graduate, you’ll be able to design, analyse and refine computing solutions across a range of technologies—preparing you for roles in an industry that’s constantly growing.

This course is available with a foundation year.
