Course summary

A two year Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Events Management franchised from the University of Greater Manchester (formerly the University of Bolton) being taught in London, the UK’s centre for Events. You will be taught about all the main aspects of Events Management that will enable you to operate within a variety of workplace environments. Topics studied include Managing the International (Events) Workforce; Event Project Design; Marketing and Social Media for Events; Event Sponsorship and Income Generation; Risk Management & Legalities for Events and Project Management Operations.

As well as the more academic subjects you will be given an opportunity to hone your employability skills ready for an Events Management career – the sky’s the limit.

You will be assessed through a mixture of individual and group assignments, presentations and classroom-based examinations.

The qualification you will achieve is a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Events Management awarded by the University of Greater Manchester.

You will need to have an in person interview with a member of the academic team and you may have to undertake an initial assessment.
