Our programme is a CIM-accredited degree, designed to develop you into a key member of the next generation of strategic, creative and analytical marketing professionals. Blending academic rigour with real-world relevance, the programme offers you a balanced mix of research-led teaching and practice-based learning, providing you with the tools to succeed in a rapidly evolving sector.
Your studies will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary marketing theory, strategy and practice. You will develop strategic, creative, entrepreneurial and analytical skills through applied projects and research, enabling you to interpret market data, manage customer relationships, and implement effective marketing strategies in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The third year of this 4-year course with a Year in Industry will be spent on placement. You will have the opportunity to gain real-world industry experience and develop your employability skill set. We have a strong network of industry contacts, and you will receive dedicated support from our in-house employability team, ranging from CV advice through to mock interviews.

Your first year of study is made up of all compulsory modules covering key elements of Business Management and Marketing. Compulsory modules are studied by all students on the programme, meaning you are automatically enrolled. Examples of modules include:

Your second year will comprise of a mixture of compulsory and optional modules. You will specialise in marketing specific modules yet also have the chance to explore elective modules from other business disciplines. Examples of modules include:
Digital Marketing, Marketing Research, Business Analytics, International Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Change Management, Critical Thinking in Entrepreneurship, Contemporary Issues in Tourism, Business and Employment Law, Management Consulting, e-Business

Sustainability Marketing, Digital Marketing Management, Strategic Sales Management, Strategic Marketing Planning, Contemporary Issues in Marketing
We offer a variety of assessment methods within our programmes. In addition to traditional examinations and essays, examples of alternative assessment include:
• Marketing plan
• Video for digital marketing proposal
• Application proposal and development
• Sales proposal
Throughout your undergraduate Marketing degree, you will develop excellent research and analytical skills and learn to present your ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.
