Would you like to transform the business world with a sustainable and ethically conscious agenda? This
Foundation Degree will provide you with the knowledge, skills, techniques and behaviours needed to
support a career as a professional in business. It is ideal for those who are both entrepreneurial and would
like to engage with an ethical business agenda.
In year 1, you will study four core modules:
The business environment
Marketing principles
Accounting and finance principles
Business project
Then you will select an additional two
modules from the following options:
Entrepreneurial small
business management
Business law
Introduction to microeconomics
Introduction to macroeconomics
Economic schools of thought
Financial accounting
Management and HR
Enterprise and commercialisation
In year 2, you will
study four core modules:
Business research project
Work-based learning
Organisations, culture, and behaviour
21st century business strategy
Then you will select an additional two
modules from the following options:
The modern consumer
Ethical brand management
Responsible growth
Paying for the state: tax, the individual
and business
Economics of public policy
International trade
Macroeconomic policy
Transparency in finance
Responsible management accounting
Mechanical principles
A series of written and practical work
is assessed by your lecturers and will
determine your overall grade.
