Course Modules

This social sciences diploma has two stages, each comprising 120 credits.

You'll start Stage 1 with a broad introduction to the social sciences that explores a wide range of factors shaping the nature of contemporary society. You’ll then choose between exploring important global challenges, or introductions to criminology, psychology, personal finance or economics. You can also choose to study a variety of topics within arts and humanities or focus more on history, philosophy and religious studies.

At Stage 2, you’ll start by exploring how the digital revolution is transforming social life. For your final module, you'll be able to build on your interests from Stage 1, whether that's in criminology, development, economics, geography, philosophy, politics and international relations, psychology, religious studies or research methods.
