Real estate surveyors are in demand both in the UK and globally. At London Met we have designed a conversion course which offers opportunity for non-cognate graduates to enter this exciting industry. Our course has been developed with industry partners to provide students with exposure to the latest
initiatives and best practices to produce highly skilled and valued surveyors who are able to effectively lead and support the delivery of commercial real estate development, valuation, acquisition, management, and disposal across the globe. You will achieve this through immersing yourself in
authentic industry scenarios and use industry standard technology to improve your skills and enhance your employability prospects. You will work with established national and international organisations operating within the real estate sector. You will have opportunities to visit live projects and national and global real estate organisation offices to experience first-hand the challenges, excitement, and opportunities a career in commercial real estate can offer. All this whilst studying in our vibrant campus within a 10-minute tube journey of the City and West End.

Your course will provide you with opportunities to engage with these organisations and projects through site visits and guest lectures and include working on live industry projects which will inform your course assessments. You will engage with practising real estate professionals, involved in developing property, maintaining the value of property and acquiring and disposing of property. You will be taught by a combination of leading academics and practitioners to ensure you graduate with the knowledge and skills that are sought by employers.
