Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

A-level Mathematics at Grade A.
Access to HE Diploma
D: 30 credits
M: 15 creditsAt least 30 level 3 credits at Distinction and in addition at least 15 level 3 credits at a minimum of merit.

A-level Mathematics at Grade A or equivalent.
We normally make offers based on Advanced Highers. If you’ve not been able to take three Advanced Highers, then we’ll consider a combination of Advanced Highers and Highers, or just Highers (if your school doesn’t offer Advanced Highers at all).

Advanced Higher Mathematics at grade A, if taken.
or
Higher Mathematics at grade A, if Advanced Higher Mathematics wasn’t available for study.
Scottish Advanced Higher
AAASpecific subjects/grades required for entry:
Advanced Higher Mathematics at grade A.
We do not accept Advanced Higher Statistics as a substitute for AH Mathematics.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
37 points666 at higher level including Mathematics. If you are not taking Mathematics at higher level, we can accept standard level Mathematics at grade 7.
Welsh Baccalaureate - Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate (last awarded Summer 2024)

T levels will be considered on a case-by-case basis where the subject area aligns with the course applied to. Please note that additional A levels or equivalent may be required to study certain courses.

We’ll look at your background, context and personal statement as well as your academic grades when we consider your application. We also make reduced grade contextual offers to many applicants and are sometimes able to accept applicants who narrowly miss their offer conditions.
