Course summary

This programme delivers the theoretical, philosophical and analytical concepts of conservation as well as providing a sound base of vocational training. It provides Higher Education training for individuals seeking a career change or development within the environmental sector. The course has been designed to build your understanding of environmental and conservation concepts as you progress through your studies. There is an established infrastructure of specialised facilities available on site and industry links are well established. The aim of the programme is to develop your understanding of the environmental and land-based sector, its processes and systems drawing on moral, ethical, commercial, political and social viewpoints. The course has an excellent reputation with non-government organisations and government organisations throughout the South Wales area. Many ex-learners are now in managerial positions within these organisations.
