If you hold a sports science or coaching-related foundation degree, or an equivalent qualification, this top-up programme allows you to earn a BSc (Hons) degree in just one year. You'll explore performance analysis within a multidisciplinary scientific context, including psychology, strength and conditioning, and applied research. You’ll also benefit from completing a placement in areas as diverse as performance analysis, sports coaching, health and fitness, teaching or sports science support.
• Year one: Dissertation, Placement, Advanced Performance Analysis, and Advanced Topics in Sports Psychology, plus optional modules: Advanced Strength and Conditioning, Advanced Topics in Exercise Physiology, Advanced Topics in Sport Nutrition and Applied Sports Psychology with Teams.
Assessment will include coursework, oral presentations, poster presentations, and written and practical exams.

Applicants must have completed a Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching validated by the University of Salford with a minimum of Pass.
Applications are also welcome from individuals who have passed a relevant foundation degree (sports coaching science, sports science). The foundation degree must have contained study of sports psychology, research methods, performance analysis and strength and conditioning.
