Course summary

Our General Engineering programmes aim to develop graduates with the skills and knowledge to become rounded engineers with diverse experiences in a number of engineering fields, able to adapt to new challenges and deliver sustainable solutions for modern society. The programme includes bespoke modules designed for General Engineering programmes, as well as specialist modules aligning to the School’s wider engineering portfolio.

    Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. Everything was so quick and it really helped me to settle into university lifestyle. So yeah, any questions you have about this I’m happy to answer :)

    I have just completed my first year as an Accountancy and Finance student at the University of Lincoln. I took a gap year before starting university in which I worked and travelled, whilst deciding what I wanted my future to look like! After university, I want to either train to be an accountant, or a teacher, possibly in maths, business or my degree area. I joined the University of Lincoln's Athletics society in September 2024, which has allowed me to make new friends, and take part in many social and competitive events. I ran my first 10k race in April 2025 with fellow society members! I live at home and commuted to campus during my first year. I either walked, drove or got the bus to university.

    Hi, I'm Chloe a current second year student at the University of Lincoln, studying Technical theatre and stage management. I am also a cheerleader, having competed all across the UK and abroad in Florida and Amsterdam. I am part of the cheerleading society, on Red Arrows, one of the competitive teams. I love all things theatre, especially musicals and hope to be working on the West-End some day! In my first year, I lived in Valentine Court, one of the university owned accommodations, and for my second year I have a house with some course mates.
