Course summary

Our MSc in Physical Activity and Nutrition for Public Health provides advanced training in the critical role that physical activity and nutrition play in public health.

The programme is research informed and combines both academic knowledge and practical skills to support the development, delivery, and evaluation of effective public health strategies. You will explore how physical activity and nutrition influence health across diverse populations, gain expertise in measuring behaviours, and examine how public policies can support healthier communities. You will gain hands-on experience in analysing and interpreting health-related data to understand how data drives public health insights, policy and action. You will also develop competencies in systems thinking and in implementing and assessing public health interventions aimed at preventing lifestyle-related conditions and reducing inequalities.
