Course summary

This programme constructed around three separate one year courses.

In year 1 you will study for a HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
In year 2 you will study for a HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
In your final year you will study for a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

There are 3 possible entry points which are:-
Year 1 for which you will need 48 UCAS points
Year 2 for which you will need a HNC at Merit or better
Year 3 for which you will need a HND at Merit or better

There are 3 possible exit points which are:-
The end of year 1 with a HNC
The end of year 2 with a HND
The end of year 3 with a BEng

Modules

Modules in this programme will normally include: The Major Project (including Project Management) 40 credits; Engineering Mathematics and Computation 20 credits; Engineering Systems Design and Simulation 20 credits; Engineering Innovation 20 credits, Microprocessor Applications 20 credits.

Assessment method

You will be assessed through a variety of methods including essays and exams
