Manchester
In a rapidly evolving fashion landscape shaped by digital innovation and shifting cultural values the ability to create and visually communicate fashion-based ideas has never been more vital. As a creative, you’ll need the ambition, curiosity and confidence to respond to these changes, and to help shape them. On BA (Hons) Fashion Art Direction, you’ll explore fashion’s visual languages, and be encouraged to critically develop and present exciting, original concepts, and in the process, define your own creative practice in the context of the wider industry.
You’ll explore how fashion is consumed, and how this creates opportunities for innovative, interdisciplinary storytelling. You’ll build industry awareness and connections, refine your creative vision, and experiment across a range of image-making and communication methods.
Through projects, case studies, collaborations and workshops, you’ll produce, publish and promote your ideas. You’ll become a highly creative fashion thinker and communicator, skilled in art direction, styling, content creation, publication, digital platforms and exhibition-making.
