The MSc Cybersecurity equips graduates with state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in Cybersecurity. It is a demanding practically-oriented taught postgraduate programme, intended for students with good undergraduate degrees in Computing Science who will benefit from leading-edge research-led teaching.

equip students to study Cybersecurity topics in depth
enable students to interact with secure-by-design hardware and software systems
enable students to assess the security and trustworthiness of future systems, including artificial intelligence systems
prepare students for future roles in the Cybersecurity sector
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Modes of delivery of the MSc in IT Cybersecurity include lectures, seminars and tutorials and allow students the opportunity to take part in lab, project and team work.

2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in a degree with Computing as a major subject, with modules in Computing at an average grade of pass.
We normally require Computing modules to make up at least 50% of all subjects studied in the final two years of the degree.
