Course summary

Embark on a career in civil engineering with our MEng Civil Engineering programme. This is an accelerated pathway endorsed by the Joint Board of Moderators for aspiring Incorporated Engineers (IEng).

A fast track to the top of the civil engineering profession, covering much of the same ground as the BEng qualification, and equivalent to an MSc degree.
Holistic Learning Approach. Blend theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of vital civil engineering infrastructures. This includes buildings, roads, bridges, and canals.
Innovative Design Tools: Foster creativity and innovation by using advanced digital tools. You will use manufacturing suites, 3D printers, plasma and laser cutting machines, robotic arms, and clay printers. This will enable you to translate imaginative concepts into tangible specifications for civil engineering structures and systems.
