Course summary

The LLM course in Maritime Law will give you the opportunity to acquire and develop the legal knowledge and skills vital to a career in the vibrant and fast growing sphere of Maritime Law.

Your learning will have an active emphasis on how the law operates in relation to specific maritime issues. These issues include shipping contracts, insurance, admiralty practice, international sale of goods, and commercial arbitration. You can also explore the International Law of the Sea.

  • We aim for you to gain greater commercial awareness of the legal principles and rules that impact international transport, especially by sea.
