Assessment in Psychology is designed to help you develop the skills and confidence you’ll need for your future. At the end of each module, you’ll demonstrate your understanding through a variety of engaging methods, portfolios, presentations, creative displays, laboratory projects, and more. Each assessment is tailored to build the practical and analytical abilities valued in psychology, from practising counselling skills in the Introduction to Psychological Therapies module to debating big ideas in Personality and Individual Differences. You’ll strengthen your critical thinking and analysis, preparing you for real-world challenges.

In Counselling, you’ll experience a wide range of assessments, including written assignments, essays, reports, and coursework. You’ll also have opportunities to deliver oral presentations, create research portfolios, and take part in practical assessments.
