Our BSc (Hons) Biology with AI degree brings together the fascinating world of biology with the fast-moving field of artificial intelligence (AI). You will build a strong foundation in core biological topics – from microbiology and molecular biology to biodiversity and ecology – while learning how AI can help us to solve complex global challenges in health, sustainability and conservation.
From your first year, you’ll develop practical skills in coding, computational thinking, and data analysis. As you progress, you’ll explore more advanced areas like machine learning, deep learning and generative AI, with a focus on how these tools can be applied in biological research and practice.
