The Initial Year of the Extended Degree Science - Biomedical and Healthcare Science, provides a good grounding in fundamental science including biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics along with specialised modules in healthcare, mammalian physiology, genetics and psychology. It is designed to allow students some flexibility to tailor their module choices to their interests and abilities, and relevance to their preferred degree programme. Students will progress to level 4 in a BSc (Hons) degree in one of nineteen programmes covering a broad range of biomedical sciences and healthcare professions.
