About the course
BSc Sports Therapy at Roehampton is a professionally focused degree designed for students who want to work in the prevention, assessment and rehabilitation of sports and physical activity related injuries. The course combines scientific theory with practical application, helping you develop the clinical and interpersonal skills required to work with athletes and physically active individuals.
You will gain hands on experience in sports therapy practice while developing a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and rehabilitation.
What you’ll study
You’ll build a solid foundation in sports therapy theory and clinical practice, while gaining professional skills valued across health, sport and rehabilitation sectors, including assessing and diagnosing sports injuries, planning and delivering rehabilitation programmes, applying manual therapy techniques, and supporting injury prevention and recovery using evidence based practice.
